ABC Head Start Classrooms Will Remain Open During Possible Teacher Strike

You may have heard on the news that Alberta teachers have voted in favour of a possible strike starting as early as October 6, 2025. This means that many public schools in Alberta could be affected if an agreement is not reached.

We want to reassure our families that this does not affect ABC Head Start. Our classrooms will stay open, and our programs will continue as usual during this time.

What this means for you:

• Your child’s class will continue as normal.

• If anything changes, we will let you know right away.

• If you have questions, please contact us here or talk to the Site Supervisor at your child’s campus.
