Welcome to ABC Head Start!
Our Family Handbook 2023-2024 provides information on what to expect from our early learning program. Please read through the handbook before your child enters the Head Start program in September and use it as a guide throughout the school year.

Transportation Contact
If you have any questions about your child’s bus please contact the transportation company directly.
You would call the transportation provider if:
- the bus is late
- your child will be absent
- for pick up and drop off times
We will be using two different companies this year so make sure to contact the one servicing your child’s site:

ABC Head Start Contact
Each ABC Head Start Site has a Site Assistant, sort of like the school secretary. They would be happy to support your family to answer any questions you may have about your child’s site or direct the questions to the appropriate person.
You would call a Site Assistant if:
- your child will be absent
- if you are moving and need to update your address or any contact information (please provide at least 2-weeks notice so there are no interruptions to transportation)
- if you will be picking up your child or there is a change to their regular pick up routine
