Opening Doors for Children & Families

$0.00 0%
Goal: $20,000.00

By supporting ABC Head Start, your donation will give children the skills they need to be successful in their educational journey and support families to transition out of poverty, become healthy and self-reliant.  Our priority is to find new and creative ways to reduce our wait lists and support vulnerable children and families.  Help us realize this vision and strengthen our communities.

Literacy Backpack Day - June 15, 2018

Every year, ABC Head Start provides backpacks to our children filled with the tools they need to be successful in their educational journey.  Watching the faces of the children as they receive their backpacks is priceless, as they light up with excitement and joy.  The backpacks are filled with books, crayons, pencils, a "reading buddy" (stuffed teddy), a glue stick, and many more tools to support their learning.

For just $40 you can buy a backpack for an ABC Head Start child.

Our goal is to raise $20,000! That's 500 backpacks, for Literacy Backpack Day! Help us reach our goal today!
