Lowes Hero's Donation Program September 2020

The entire month of September you will be able to make donations to ABC Head Start Society at the till of participating Lowe’s and Rona stores (full list below).

The Lowe's Canada Heroes campaign is back from September 1 to 30, 2020. Each Lowe’s Canada store will support the mission or a specific project of the non-profit organization or public school of their choice⁠—their local hero. Lowe’s employees are firmly committed to taking concrete steps to improve the lives of those around them every day, whether it is by helping them complete their home improvement projects or by collecting donations to help their hero organization better serve their community. For the Heroes campaign, some employees are even offering to volunteer their time to further support the chosen local cause.

The staff at Lowe’s and Rona stores have been some of the most wonderful people we have had the pleasure to fundraise with,  they are open to ideas and have welcomed to have us at the stores and are great at promoting the fundraiser. 

Our Goal for September

Each store has their own goals (all are different) and our goal is to share the importance of early intervention and helping young children develop their life skills, this promotion will help us with healthy snacks and lunches, providing shoes to children in need and supporting family in emergent situations, additionally  Lowe's Corporate office will match donations up to $2000 per store.

Your Donations Make a Difference

As a charity, we rely on the generosity of the community and donations to provide the services we do to vulnerable children and families.  This includes families basic needs, like food, clothing and a place to belong and learn.

In 2018-2019 we served 817 family, 76% of families have incomes less than $42,000, with an aver of 3 children per house-hold.
